Nupoor Phadke is an illustrator and abstract artist currently based in the Bay Area.

She’s in the middle of wrapping up her undergrad and already finding herself in love with the way art can tell stories—especially the quiet, in-between ones.

Her work is a bit of a mix: soft, whimsical children’s book scenes with a touch of playfulness, and bold, vibrant pieces that have a bit of a futuristic edge. Think Amelia Bedelia meets The Fifth Element—that blend of familiar warmth and strange, vivid color. There’s a lot of in-betweens in Nupoor’s work—those spaces where things shift, surprise, and spark something new.

She got into illustration because she couldn’t stop drawing—whether it was little moments from life or the characters in her head. Now, she’s building a portfolio and dreaming of working with studios, agencies, and publishers who value story and design as much as she does. Nupoor’s goal? To make work that feels both timeless and full of life, and to keep pushing her art to explore all the spaces in between.
